Engage In the Process: National Fellowships & Scholarships
What is the Office of Fellowships and Scholar Programs? The Office of Fellowships and Scholar Programs (OFSP) is a close partner to the Honors College with two missions: assisting students in preparing and applying for national fellowships and serving as the home base for our Carolina, Stamps Carolina, McNair, Hamilton, and Horseshoe Scholars.
What services does OFSP provide? OFSP advises students pursuing nationally competitive awards and provides essay reviews, reflection conversations, and interview practice for specific national competitions, as well as pairing students with faculty mentors.
What is a national fellowship? A grant of money awarded directly to you from organizations outside of the University through merit-based national competitions. Awards are granted for both undergraduate and graduate study and can be used at USC or other institutions.
How do I add my name to the winner’s list? Schedule an appointment to meet with a national fellowship advisor and learn how to apply for a national fellowship that fits your academic interests and career goals. Also, check out the INFO (Investigate National Fellowships Opportunities) database.
YOU CAN'T WIN A FELLOWSHIP IF YOU DON'T APPLY!
OFSP is located two doors up from the Honors College on the 3rd Floor of DeSaussure. They want to hear from you!
